The surfaces are harder than the residential neighborhoods around it, but the buildings are old, so the mortar is the limiting factor rather than the brick.
Most of the work here is commercial: frontage, glass, sidewalks, and service areas. Tall elevations need proper access rather than spraying up from ground level, which drives water into joints and openings. Scheduling matters as much as method, and we work outside trading hours where a business needs it.

Spraying upward at a masonry wall drives water into the joints and into window heads and openings, which on a converted building with original mortar is how you get water inside. Proper access means the spray can be kept level or angled downward, which is the only way to clean a tall wall without pushing water into it.
The brick is hard and the buildings are industrial, but the mortar is as old as the structure, so the pressure limit is set by the joints exactly as it is on a residential historic building.
Most of what a customer sees is the first storey: the glass, the entry, and the sidewalk in front of it. Large window openings mean a lot of glass, and on converted loading bays the frames are often steel and worth keeping the water out of. Sidewalk and entry areas take a surface cleaner and pick up chewing gum, spills and traffic film that need a degreaser rather than an algae solution.
